Shirley Margaret Cannon, 87, of Somerville TN, passed away May 1, 2023.

Shirley was an avid Memphis Grizzlies and Memphis Tigers fan. She enjoyed watching  game shows, working on her crossword puzzles, and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Deena L.Coats of Memphis, TN; son, Bruce Dewayne Cannon of Oakland, TN; sisters, Anita Hunt Temple of Germantown, TN and Joyce Hunt Matlock of Brookhaven, MS; brother, Charles Bennett Hunt of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Joshua Michael Auvenshine of Bartlett, TN, Michael David Rosenthal of Randolph, MS, Joshua Allen Rosenthal of Memphis, TN; great grandchildren, Cohen Michael Auvenshine of Lakeland, TN, Michael Shade Rosenthal of Randolph, MS, Sadie Kathleen Rosenthal, Emma Scarlett Rosenthal, Ophelia Jane Rosenthal of Fort Worth, TX, and Cecil Cypress Rosenthal of Fort Worth, TX .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy H. Cannon; parents, Charles and Margaret Hunt; son, Steven H. Cannon; three sisters, Peggy Hunt Mills, Charlene Hunt Royer, and Elizabeth Hunt Watts; brother, John Robert Hunt.
