Shirley May Cooper, 65, of Adamsville, TN passed away on May 24, 2016 in Nashville, TN. Shirley was born on June 23rd, 1950, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a former member of Longcrest Baptist Church of Memphis, TN and current member of The Church of the Living God of Stantonville, TN. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents: Charles and Ilaverne McClanahan; Her husband, David B. Cooper, one sister, Linda Mathis and three brothers: Tommy, Charles, and Wayne McClanahan. She leaves her Son, David A. Cooper, and daughter-in-law, Christina Cooper, brother, Bobbie McClanahan, four grandchildren: Katie, Alyssa, Joseph and Evelyn Cooper. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 31 at Forest Hill South with graveside service immediately following in Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park 346-3250.
