Shirley Jean George, 80, of Bartlett, TN, passed away on October 7, 2015. She was retired and a loving, wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. George was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Roland George; and her son, Steven B. Karns. She is survived by her daughters, Joan Karns (Joseph) Bledsoe, Connie (Johnny) Meadors; daughter in law, Sandra B. Karns; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, October 9 and service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 10 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will be at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens immediately following. The family request memorials be made to the River of Life Assembly of God, 220 Beaver Road, Munford, TN, 38058.
