Shirley Jean Hunt, 84, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. She leaves behind one son Randy Hunt; three grandchildren, Misty Beale (Tim), Zachary Hunt and Marlo Bischofberger (Sean); one cousin, Bobby Howell; and two sisters in law, Marilyn Reasons and Brenda Ripley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Hunt and her parents, George and Geneva Laws; one daughter, Lisa Dixon; and one brother, Frank Wilkins.

Shirley was a philanthropist and supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In her free time she enjoyed cooking, eat out with friends and spending time with her family. She liked touring Elmwood Cemetery with her long time friend, Janice Beck, talking on the phone with Earlene Tyson, and spending time with her sister in law, Carolyn Wilkins.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 1-2pm with funeral services starting at 2pm at Forest Hill Midtown, 1661 Elvis Presley Blvd., Memphis, TN 38106. Burial will follow at Forest Hill South Cemetery, 2545 E Holmes Rd., Memphis, TN 38118.
