Shirley R. Prentice of Bartlett, TN was born in Monette, AR on April 21, 1939 to S.R. Wallace and Ruth Naomi Winford Wallace. She passed away on July 29, 2016 at the age of 77 years. Shirley was employed with Wexner & Jackson as a bookkeeper for more than 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 35 years, Thomas "Buddy" Prentice; grandchild, Morgan Prentice and brother, Jerry Wallace. Shirley is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Jones (Paul) and Laura Blow (Charles); son, Greg Prentice (Lynette); sisters, Sarah Curtis and Norma McCoy; brother, Winford Wallace; grandchildren, Angela, Rebecca, Christian, P.J., Alina and Caitlyn; step-grandchildren, Lauren, Ashli, Christy, Dominique, Samantha, Tiffany and Billy; and by 15 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 5-7 PM, with funeral services to follow on Wednesday, August 3 at 10:00 AM, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home East, 2440 Whitten Rd.
