Shirley Ann Ready Johnston, 76, an RN of Hernando, MS died, June 14, 2012. She devoted her life to caring for others at the V. A. Hospital and as Administrator of several elder care facilities and Home Health Care facilities in Memphis, TN. She is survived by two sons, Van R. Johnston (Lynn) of Byhalia, MS; Mark E. Johnston of Hernando, MS; grandchildren, Kurstie, Sherman, Claire, Brandon and Olivia Johnston; one great granddaughter Adilynn Copeland; a sister, Beverly (Ken) Sheppard of Chattanooga, TN and many relatives in her hometown of Wilmer, AL. A memorial service will be held, 10:30 am, June 30 at First Baptist Church of Wilmer, Wilmer, AL, and 2 pm, July 7, at the Red Banks United Methodist Church, 405 Yarborough Loop, Red Banks, MS.
