Stella Mae Hendricks, 85, a long-time resident Memphis, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in Mason, TN. She leaves behind two sons, Phil Hendricks (Beverly) and Carl Hendricks (Courtney); one sister, Frankie Glisson; two brothers, Seamon Haynes, and Jerry Haynes; and five grandchildren, Tiffany, Dawson, Asher, Xander and Gunnar. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Hendricks; her parents, Seamon and Blanche Haynes; and two sisters, Opal Haynes and Rosie Bledsoe.

Stella retired from the Catholic Diocese after 24 years of service. She enjoyed time with her family and friends, was an avid reader, had a green thumb in the garden and was always willing to share her prized plants. Stella also loved the challenge of working crossword puzzles, enjoyed westerns, shopping and growing flowers. She was a caring woman and an amazing cook who was loved cooking Sunday lunch and was always willing to share her recipes.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 17, 2022 from 1:00p.m.-2:00p.m. at Forest Hill Midtown. Graveside services will follow at 2:00p.m. at Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery 1661 Elvis Presley Blvd., Memphis, TN 38106.
