Steve Phillip Clark "Pop", 83, of Atoka, TN went to be with the Lord November 23, 2017. He was born on February 24, 1934, in Houlka, MS. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ora Clark; one brother; and two sisters. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 1/2 years, Janie Chrestman Clark; son, Phil (Donna) Clark; grandsons Zach (Brittany) Clark; and Ryne Clark. Steve retired from Kimberly Clark after 41 years. He was a member of Seventh Street Baptist and Northview Baptist Churches. After moving to Atoka, he became a member and served as a deacon of Munford Baptist Church.Pop was an avid quail hunter and sports fan. Visitation for Mr. Clark will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Munford Baptist Church, 1253 Munford Avenue, Munford, TN, 38058. His funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 also at Munford Baptist Church. Interment will follw at Forest Hill Cemetery and Memorial Park, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN, 38133.
