Steven Frederick Gabriel, age 77, native of Memphis, Tennessee, made his home residence in nearby Horn Lake, Mississippi. Steven passed away peacefully in his sleep at home. Steven entered into his eternal Heavenly Father's home of peace and rest for all eternity. After Steven's battle with C.O.P.D. and with the return of his lung cancer after 10 years of remission.

Steven was the absolute love of my lifetime. He Always called me sunshine. He said I was the love and light of his life. I thank God for these past 34 years we were given, and blessing us with a wonderful marriage. By serving our Lord as the head of our household. Our Father in Heaven honors us. When he passed, I cupped his chin with my hands, and said....my love, come into my arms, and come into my heart, and be with me forever(I meant his spirit)

Steven worked for Bell South in Memphis, Tennessee, and also Floid Fire Extinguisher Company in Memphis, Tennessee. Steven was an Air Force Veteran and loved family tree research, Jeopardy, and all news shows. He was very intelligent and taught me so much over all these years.

Steven was the son of Frederick Gabriel and Celene Kee, of Memphis, Tennessee. His sister was Phyllis Gabriel Wilson, deceased and one brother, James "Gabe" Gabriel, and his only daughter, Sarah Gabriel.

Steven and Nancy, 1st wife, had 4 children; Wesley Gabriel (Beverley), Jonathan Gabriel, Michael Gabriel (Melissa), and Angela Gabriel Hunsicker.

There were numerous grandchildren.

Steven's step-daughter was Shelley Cuevas. Two step-grandsons, Chad Ladner (Brittany), Trenton Ladner (Adrienne), and 1 great-granddaughter, Ava Grace Ladner.

The Celebration of Life for Steven Frederick Gabriel will be on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park-Midtown, located at 1661 Elvis Presley Blvd., Memphis, Tennessee 38106.
