Steven Lawrence Hunt, age 60 of Cordova, TN passed away October 18th, 2013. He retired from MLGW in October 2011, after 38 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Gwenlyn James Hunt and daughter Janice Hunt Traughber, son-in-law Corey Adam Traughber and his two grandchildren, Joseph Douglas and Matthew William; his parents, William Murray Hunt Sr. and Louise Calvi Hunt; brother, William Murray Hunt Jr., and sister, Barbara Hunt Acree. Steve was affectionately called "Teeto" by close family and friends. He was a sweet, caring, good-hearted man who was musically talented, and used to play the guitar and sing like nobody''s business. He was highly intelligent and could master anything he put his mind to. HE WAS A MODERN-DAY RENAISSANCE MAN. His TALENTS included music, mountain climbing, motor cycling, photography, astronomy, literature, piloting, cooking, computers, and art; BUT his GREATEST passion was his family. He was a loving spirit and often stood up for the down trodden, seeing the good there and bringing it out. Steve has left all of us who loved him in a state of sorrow. The family will be holding a celebration of life ceremony in honor of Steve on The Farm at 8075 Horn Lake Rd. Southaven, MS 38671 on November 3, 2013 at 2 p.m. All are welcome to share memories of this remarkable man.
