Sumner J. Glassco, 86, of Memphis, TN died Thursday, December 26, 2013. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, retired from the Memphis and Shelby County Health Department and a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Glassco was also an avid bridge player. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Glassco and daughter, Leigh Ann Cantrell. Mr. Glassco is survived by his daughter, Ellen Wheeler (Ed) of Milan, TN; son, Ben Glassco (Rose) of Memphis, TN; grandchildren, Abby Wheeler and Danielle Wiles and great-grandchildren, Brandon and Leigh Ann. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m., Tuesday, December 31, 2013 with services to follow at 11 a.m. at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery
