In Loving Memory of Susan Diane Leslie
Susan Diane Leslie, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and dedicated professional, was born on November 22, 1946, in Memphis, TN, to her parents, Inez Shanks Sanders and B.F. Shanks. She peacefully passed away on November 3, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of boundless love and unwavering kindness.
For over four decades, Susan dedicated her expertise and passion to the Memphis Gastroenterology Group, making a profound impact through her unrelenting dedication and tireless commitment.
Her life was profoundly enriched by a 56-year-long, loving marriage to her cherished husband, Bobby Leslie. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family and were blessed with one daughter, Kerry (Jeff) Moore, who brought immense joy and fulfillment into their lives. Susan was a doting grandmother to her beloved grandchildren, Dale and Erin Moore, whom she adored beyond measure.
An active and devoted member of the Hope Community Church in Olive Branch, MS, Susan's faith and compassion radiated brightly, touching the lives of those around her. Her generosity and deep care extended not only to her human connections but also to her fervent love for animals and her passionate advocacy for animal rescue initiatives.
In her quieter moments, Susan found joy and solace in the art of quilting, the worlds she discovered through books, and the warmth of her kitchen while baking for her loved ones.

She is also survived by her mother-in-law Lucy, brother-in-law Jim (Liz), brother-in-law Steve (Laurie), as well as nephews and nieces, including Jimmy, Scott, Lindsay, Lauren, Mandy, and Angie.
Susan will be lovingly remembered for her unwavering love, boundless kindness, and the profound impact she had on all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her spirit and legacy will continue to inspire and provide solace to those whose lives she touched.
