Susan Schmittou, 59 of Bartlett, passed away May 1, 2023.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph "Bill" Schmittou, Jr.; daughter, Jill Skinner (Christopher); son, Joseph Schmittou, III (Tugce); one sister, Shirley Land (Sonny); one brother, Bobby Hicks (Sheila); and grandchildren, William Schmittou, IIII and Nolan Skinner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Barbara Hicks; one sister, Sarah Collins; and two brothers, Terry Hicks and Sammy Hicks.

Ms. Susan retired from Hi-Light Bearings where she enjoyed working for many years and her co workers were a second family to her.

She enjoyed traveling, and her favorite type of travel was cruises. She loved her family and her grandchildren were her world.
