Suzy Marie Rook, 66, born January 30, 1956 passed away Friday, August 12, 2022 at her home in Lakeland, TN with her husband, Tommy Rook Jr. by her side. She leaves behind her husband, Tommy Rook Jr.; one daughter, Stephanie Everett; two sons, James M. Hoffman and Christopher Keith Rook; one brother, Mark Dew; and three grandchildren, Lily, Ethan and Elan. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Clara Dew.

Suzy was a devout Christian woman and a longtime member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was a hard and dedicated worker, working several years at Shoney's/TPI and Harrah's Casinos. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling to the beach in Florida, listening to Elvis and riding a four wheeler and tending to the cows on her friend Sherry's farm. She was a diehard Memphis Tigers fan and loved watching them play and cheering them on.

Visitation will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 from 1:00-2:00p.m. with funeral services starting at 2:00p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133. Burial will follow at Forest Hill East Cemetery.
