Sylvia A. Johnson, 49, of Memphis, TN died Thursday, February 28, 2013. She was a childcare provider and member of the East Side Baptist Church where she was in the Joy Sunday School Class. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband of three years, David Johnson; children, Alicia Lynette Smiely and Joe Daniel Garcia; mother, Juanita Rodriquez; five grandchildren; two sisters and one brother. She was preceded in death by her father, Hijinio Rodriquez. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m., Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, March 4, 2013 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
