Sylvia Moreland Jordan-Lemmon, 89, of Memphis, TN, passed away Friday, September 7, 2012 at Gallaway Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Mrs. Jordan-Lemmon was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Harmon Jordan; daughter Brenda Witmer and son, Steven Jordan. She is survived by her husband, Roy Lemmon; sons, Michael and Jeff Jordan; stepsons, James and Roy Lemmon; stepdaughters, Gayle Tubbs and Tina Yarbro; sister, Joyce Hargrove; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to B & L Foundation, Shelbyville, TN. Visitation will be 12-2 p.m., Thursday, September 13, 2012 with services to follow at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
