Sylvia M. Taylor, 95, went to be with the Lord Sunday April 17, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Hubert Taylor; parents, Benjamin and Martha Martin; and siblings: Josie, Brewer, R.C., B.F., Lula, Sue, Judy, and babies that passed away shortly after birth. She is survived by her two daughters: Charlisa Windham (Charles) and Sabrina Clayton (Dr. Kevin); grandchildren: Celeta, Chandra, Taylor, Alexis, and Abigail; great-grandchildren: Chelsea, Eryn, Braden, Caiden, Elijah, and Sylvia Kate; and great-great-grandchild, Ember; and a host of other children who claimed her as their Nanny. Ms. Taylor was a beautician by trade. She also loved to play basketball and go bowling. She bowled in a league until 4 months before she passed away. The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm with a funeral service at 2:00 on Wednesday April 20, 2016, all held at Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch.
