Sylvon Marie Whitfield Harwood, 76, of Memphis, TN. died on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.  She was born on September 19, 1941 in Plumerville, AR. to Calvin and Sylvia Whitfield.

Sylvon  attended the University of Arkansas Health Sciences from 1959-1961.  She graduated and began her career at The Regional Medical center then at the University of Tennessee as a Radiologist Technician.  Her career lasted over 37 years. In her spare time she loved to quilt, crochet and garden.

Mrs. Harwood was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Charlie Harwood.  Left to cherish her memory is her son Matthew Harwood, her sister Mary Sue and husband Billy Deaver; her nephews, Willliam  ( Greta ) Deaver, Randy (Beverly)Deaver all of Plumerville, AR. and niece Connie (Mark) Clark of Havana, AR.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Hill Midtown on Elvis Presley Blvd.
