Ted G. Haynes, retired MLGW Electric Engineer, died on Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi.  Mr. Haynes was born in 1939 in Covington, Tennessee, to Thomas Eddie Haynes and Fleurie Langley Haynes, both deceased.  He  attended Curve, Tennessee, grammar school, Ripley High School, and graduated from Messick High School in Memphis.  He was a graduate of Tennessee State Technical Institute in Memphis and Christian Brothers College with degrees in Mechanical Engineering.  He is a greatly-loved brother, uncle, and friend.  Mr. Haynes leaves two sisters, Clarice M. Hellums of Walls, Mississippi,  and Kara E. McCauley of Nesbit, Mississippi.  He also leaves five nephews, six great-nieces, three great-nephews, and one step-great-nephew.
