Thelma Faye Moore Hankins, 91, passed away at Methodist Hospital, Olive Branch, MS on Monday June 1, 2020.  She was born on July 27, 1929 in Iuka, MS. She graduated from Burnsivlle High School in 1948.  On April 21, 1951 Thelma married Charles Adren Hankins and in 1951 they moved to Memphis.  She was a homemaker and mom.  Thelma was a Christian and member of LaBelle Haven Baptist Church in Memphis, TN.

Thelma is survived by her daughters, Brenda Kay Shands, Charlotte Ann Dawkins (Gary), and Patti Rene Guest, one sister Martha Nicodemus and a sister-in-law, Rose Moore.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Hankins, grandson, Chase Sands, her parents Richard Benjamin and Lilllie Mae Prewitt Moore, her sisters, Georgia Green (William), Mary Elizabeth Moore, Lola McDonald (Aubrey), Lometa Marie Wells (Gene) and her two brothers, Billy Moore (Rose) and Bobby Moore.

Thelma has been blessed with seven grandchildren, Carmen Bentley, Jason Dawkins, Amanda Dickey, Eric Dawkins, Chase Shands, Blake Shands and Jacob Guest and eleven great grandchildren,

There will be a graveside service at Forest Hill East on Whitten Rd, Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 10:00 am.
