Thelma Jane Smith, 87, of Olive Branch, MS passed away May 13, 2016. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Smith in 2007. They had been married 57 years. She attended Longview Heights Baptist Church until her illness. She is survived by her two daughters: Sandi Rhoda (Billy) and Jan Smith (Mike Houston); three granddaughters: Lisa White (Dean), Nikki Rhoda, and Shelby Rhoda; and one great-grandson, Jackson White. The family will receive friends Monday May 16, 2016 from 1-2 pm followed by a graveside service at 2:00 pm. All services and interment will be held at Forest Hill South on Holmes Road. A special thank you to her caregiver, Ruby Yount, who took care of her for 5 years and the Methodist Hospice Residence. The family requests memorials be made to the Methodist Hospice Residence at 6416 Quince Rd., Memphis, TN.
