Theodore "Ted" Kirksey, Sr., 93 of Memphis, passed away March 6, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ima; one daughter, Selma; and one son, Teddy.

He is survived by one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Miller; sons, Ronald Kirksey and Mike Vanaman; nine grandchildren, Braxton, Daniel, Blair, Caylan, Evan, Kevin, Karla, Justin, and Mark; 16 great granchildren; and three sisters, Dot, Tabitha, and Kate.

Ted was a member of Southaven Church of Christ and worked as a supervisor for Chris Hill Construction Company.

He knew how short and fragile life really is and used that uncertainty to be grateful for each day.
