Theresa Vescovi Raiteri, 94, of Southern Pines, NC and a longtime resident of Memphis passed away on July 3, 2014 at St. Joseph of the Pines. She was born on May 5, 1920 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Alex and Maria Vescovi. In addition to her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her husband Frank Raiteri and one son, Albert Raiteri. She is survived by one daughter, Carol Bowman and her husband Mel of Pinehurst, NC; four grandchildren, Regina Langman of OH, Stephen Raiteri of OH, Kenneth Raiteri of OH and Matthew Raiteri of VA; also survived by 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul''s Catholic Church, Whitehaven, Tennessee on July 11, 2014 at 10 a.m. Family will receive friends at the church at 9:15 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery South.
