Thomas E. Byrd, 81, of Bartlett, TN, went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2013. He was a member of Ellendale Baptist Church, a US Navy Veteran and retired from Auto Zone. Mr. Byrd was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bobbie Byrd; son, Carl S. Williamson; and brother, Maury Byrd. He is survived by three children, Sara F. Garrett, Thomas L. Williamson (Diane), Kenneth D. Williamson (Leigh); sister, Sandra Routzong; brother, L.W. Byrd; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be at 12 noon until services begins at 2 p.m. on Monday, November 25 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with burial following. In lieu of flowers the family request any memorials be sent to Ellendale Baptist Church.
