THOMAS WAYNE CLEAVES "Tommy", 70 years old, of Bartlett, TN crossed over into eternity to be with his Lord at his home on March 6, 2014. He was a renowned bass fisherman and an avid duck hunter. For 20 years he enjoyed a successful career in real estate with Crye-Leike Realtors, formerly Ace Roberts Realty. He was a lifetime member of the Memphis Board of Realtor''s Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club. Tommy was an active participant and past winner of the St. Jude Bass Fishing Classic Tournament for the benefit of St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital. Being a dedicated duck hunter, close to his heart was the preservation of the wetlands through the Ducks Unlimited Organization. He was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. Tommy loved to sing and play guitar entertaining his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Jesse "Butch" Cleaves, his beloved grandmother Della Chambers Phillips, and his father Nolen W. Cleaves. He is survived by the love of his life Lelaine Richbourg Cleaves, his sweet mother Mary Nell Phillips Cleaves, and sister Bonnie Cleaves Dumas (William) of Mountain View, AR. An a nephew Nolen A. "Tony" Cleaves (Nichole) of Edmond , OK. Also survived by his three daughters Leslie Cleaves Kuntzman (Robert), Jennifer Cleaves Marshall (Craig), and Crissy Cleaves Starratt (Chas), all of Memphis, TN. Funeral services to be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home on Whitten Road with visitation on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and funeral services 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 11 with fellowship following for friends and family at Bellevue Baptist Church, Special Occasions Room - West Side.
