Thomas W. Farris, Sr., 91, of Southaven, MS went home to be with the Lord Monday October 12, 2015. Mr. Farris is a World War II veteran. He was a US Army Corporal in the Artillery Corps. We was a member of Graceview Presbyterian Church in Southaven, MS. Mr. Farris was preceded in death by his wife, Gene Farris; son, Danny Farris; and daughter, Norma Jean Farris. He is survived by his son, Tom Farris, Jr. (Judy); son, Robert E. Farris, Sr. (Wanda); daughter, Patty Farris Jackson (David); sister, Irene Travis; 8 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Wednesday October 14, 2015 with a funeral service Thursday morning at 11:00 am. The visitation and funeral service will be held at Forest Hill, South on Holmes Rd. with interment to follow at Love Cemetery in Love, MS. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital or Disabled Veterans of America.
