Thomas Richard Harris, 83, of Memphis, TN, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 30, 2018.  He was surrounded by his family at the time of his death.  He was born on March 10, 1935, in Moscow, TN to the late Dempsey and Allie Mae Harris. He retired with the rank of E-8 from the United States Air Force.  He was of Baptist faith.  He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 61 years, Frances Joyner Harris of Memphis, TN; four daughters, Donna Carner, Debbie Simmons, Beverly Wilson and Denise Miller; a son, Thomas R. Harris, Jr.; a sister, Laura Cecil; and a brother, Bob Harris; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Dad, you were the "best" Dad in the world! When you left this world, you carried nothing with you except the love of "Jesus" and the love of your wife, children, grandchildren, family and friends.  We love you, Dad…and we will miss you!! Visitation for Mr. Harris will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday, April 2, 2018, with funeral services at 10:00 Tuesday, April 3, 2018.  All services are entrusted to Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East Chapel, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN, 38133.  Interment will be held at West Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery at a later date.
