Thomas (Tom) Samples, Sr., 78, of Memphis, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at his home.  He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda; two sons, Tommy Samples, Jr.(Janet) of Olive Branch, MS; Tim Samples, of  Southaven, MS; two sisters, Grace Crook; Betty Moore; one brother, Randle Samples(Pat); eight grandchildren, Brian Samples;Blake Samples(Sarah); Hailey Samples; Hayden Samples; Dawson Samples; Autumn Samples; McKenzie Samples and one great grandchild, Anna Sophia Gutierrez.  Tom was preceded in death four brothers, Hollis, Bobby, Billy and Don Samples.   He was employed by Wal-Mart(Whitehaven).   He enjoyed his many years in the produce business.  Especially the many customers from all over the Memphis Area.  He enjoyed outdoor activities with his grandkids i.e. basketball, fishing and racing.  Family and friends will gather to share memories 5-7 pm, Sunday.  A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 pm, Monday.   Both at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park-South (901)346-3250
