Thomas Gene Thompson, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away today at age 89. He is survived by his loving wife Rubye, his daughter Carol Deaver, his son Craig (Cindy) Thompson, all of Memphis; his granddaughter Rachel (Daniel) Roberts of Houston, Texas, his grandson Nathaniel (Bridgette) Thompson of Spring Hill Tennessee, his grandson Bryant (Whitney) Deaver of Huntsville Alabama; his great grandson Wyatt Roberts of Houston Texas, his great grandson Bryce Deaver of Huntsville Alabama, and his twin great grandchildren Tucker and Easton Thompson of Spring Hill Tennessee. He also leaves two sisters Lela Brown of Milan Tennessee, and Jane Gutter of Albany, Oregon. He served his country in the US Air Force. He was a faithful member of Grimes United Methodist Church since 1953. His was a life well lived and his legacy will be carried on. Memorials to Grimes Church or donors charity of choice.
