Thomas Wayne Willis' Obituary
Thomas Wayne Willis ("Wayne"), age 88, of Bartlett, TN, passed away June 23, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett. He was born in Bay Village, AR on December 14, 1932 to the late James Gainer and Lois Readom (Penna) Willis.
Wayne served our country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and later worked in construction as a backhoe operator.
In addition to his parents, Wayne is preceded in death by his brothers, James Earl Willis and JC Willis.
Wayne will be remembered by his sons, Michael Willis (Connie) of Oakland, TN and Bruce Willis (Ann) of Bartlett, TN, sister Anniece Pochopin of Memphis, brother Harold Willis of Harrisburg, AR, four grandchildren, Lauren Willis Stringfellow (Nic), Jessica Willis, Justin Willis, and Scotty Willis, and great-grandson Aiden Stringfellow.
Visitation will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home East, 2440 Whitten Ave, Memphis, TN 38133 on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park East.
