Thu Nguyen, 62, passed away at his home on August 12, 2026. He was born on June 11, 1964, in Saigon, Vietnam, to Thuong Nguyen and Bay Nguyen. Thu was loved and cared for by family and friends in his final weeks as he endured liver cancer.

Thu was preceded in death by his father Thuong Nguyen, mother Bay Nguyen, and brother Thanh Nguyen. He is survived by his beloved spouse, Uyen Duong; his daughters and son, Cindy Nguyen, Janice Nguyen and Terry Nguyen; and his brother and sisters, Lac Phan, Xuan Nguyen, Mai Miller, Lai Moore along with in-laws, Bob Miller, Cong Nguyen, Lai Phan & Ngoc Minh Do.

Throughout his life, Thu worked tirelessly to provide for his family while also making time to enjoy life and be with the people he loved. One of Thu’s joys was traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed visiting Vietnam with family, relaxing on the beaches of Florida, and visiting places with Vietnamese communities to eat great food. At home, he found fulfillment in working with his hands, from gardening and caring for his home where his family lived.

Thu will be remembered for his hard work, dedication to family, and the many moments he shared with those he loved. His memory and passion will live on through his family and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

The public visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 5:00–8:00 PM and Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1:00–2:00 PM, followed by the funeral service from 2:00–3:00 PM.

He will be loved and remembered forever. May he rest in peace.
