Thurman Agee Parker, 89, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on June 23, 2026 surrounded by loving family.

Born on June 20, 1937, in Somerville, Alabama to Lloyd Parker and Ola Mae Parker.

When Thurman turned eighteen he enlisted in the Army and was deployed to the Korean War. Thurman moved to Memphis and worked for Southern Boiler, then gained employment as a certified welder at Firestone. Following the closure of Firestone he worked for a fire protection system installing sprinkler systems. He was most proud of his independent business as an HVAC professional. He enjoyed fishing, dancing and spending time with family.

He is survived by his loving partner, Charlane Crouse; children, Rick Parker (Patricia), Terra Stembridge (Don); several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, several siblings and a daughter, Tina Pitts.

The visitation will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home – East, located at 2440 Whitten Rd. Memphis, TN on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 9-10am, the funeral service will begin at 10am, with the burial to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park – South, located at 2545 E. Holmes Rd. Memphis, TN.
