Tim A. Beyer, 59, of Millington, passed away on October 20, 2019, with his family by his side at Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis, TN.
Tim was born in Memphis, TN to Leo and Samantha Beyer on May 26, 1960. He graduated from Skyview High School, class of 1978, and then went on to work in the family business. He would eventually go on to become President of Time Card Sales. He was a savvy and dedicated businessman who poured his heart and soul into his work. In his downtime he enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling, fishing, traveling and cheering his children and grandchildren on from the sidelines during their many sporting events and activities. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Memphis Tigers fan and passed this love on to his son Brian. He was a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and employer. He would go out of his way to support and help anyone and everyone. He was one of the most selfless, generous, caring and loving men you could ever hope to meet. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Tim is survived by his mother, Samantha Beyer; son, Brian Beyer and his wife, Heather Beyer; daughter, Hali Beyer Shankle and her husband James Shankle; 6 grandchildren, Alana Beyer, Addison Beyer, Samantha Beyer, Brentley Shankle, Bransyn Beyer and Emerson Beyer; sister, Janet George; brothers, Ray Beyer and Bo Beyer and many nieces and nephews. Tim is preceded in death by his father, Leo Beyer. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park- East, located at 2440 Whitten Rd. Memphis, TN 38133 . Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2019, from 5:00- 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019, at 2:00 pm. A reception will follow at the home of Dennis and Janet George. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The V Foundation for Cancer Research.
