On December 21, 2024 the world lost a wonderful woman. The Grand Junction, Tennessee native was born on December 1, 1933. Tommye H. Walker, age 91, peacefully made her transition.  Tommye battled breast and pancreatic cancer, but it never stopped her from giving out the best hugs. Her strength and love for life was truly immeasurable. Her love for people and life showed so daintily in her everyday lifestyle. Not only was she a beautiful woman, she took pride in working in her own salon, keeping the ladies in style. Her colleagues knew her as a kind soul, always willing to cheer everyone up and see the good in everything and everyone.

Tommye is survived by her son, Martin and wife Rhonda; her daughter in law/caregiver, Julie Walker; her sister, Betty Stewart; five grandchildren, and several nieces.

Her beautiful spirit will greatly be missed.
