Travis Calvi, 28, born in Memphis, TN, on January 22, 1985, to Felix and Suzanne Calvi, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 16, 2013. He loved playing baseball for Cordova High School and graduated in 2004. Travis then attended the University of Memphis and was a member of the ATO Fraternity. He was also a member of Toast Masters and attended Christ City Church. Travis was a kind hearted man who loved to make people laugh and help them whenever possible; and he strived for excellence in everything he did. He was a joy to be around. Travis was presently serving his community as a Memphis Police Officer for the last six years. He will be dearly missed by his parents; and the love of his life, Ashley Chambers; lots of aunts, uncles and cousins friends, and his canine companions, Lola Mae and Lily June. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 22 and service at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 23 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following. In lieu of flowers the family request any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
