Born November 12, 1927 and went home to Heaven on February 11, 2022 at the age of 94.  Edward was a member of Eastside Baptist Church of Memphis.  He trusted Christ at the age of 38 and never got over it.  He made his living as a truck driver, but his real life was spent trying to bring his family and others to the Lord Jesus Christ.  He loved to talk and he talked about three things- family, truck driving and Jesus.  He is survived by one daughter, Freida Lansing (Kenneth),; three sons, Freck Reed (Terry), Randy Reed (Susanne) and Rudy Reed (Jeanette);  two brothers, Larry Reed and Dana Reed; 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren,  and 1 great great grandchild.  Visitation will be held at Eastside Baptist Church, 3232 Covington Pike, Memphis on Monday, February 21, 2022 beginning at 10 am with the funeral service following at 11 am. .  Internment will follow at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2440 Whitten Road.  Any memorials may be made to the Eastside Baptist Church Building Fund.
