Vanetta Lane "Missy" Bridges, 76, passed away Friday, September 25, 2020. She was a member of Glenn's Chapel Church and was retired from Walls Water Association. After the death of her husband John E. Clark, Jr., she married Captain Robert L. Bridges, who also preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter Melissa Clark of Lake Cormorant, son John Emile Clark III of Mississippi, sisters Carol Hilley of Alabama, Lorita Plasencia (Ricardo) of New Mexico, Pamala Whittaker (David Hurshman) of Arkansas, Susie Bufford of Michigan, Alice Cory of Illinois, Rebecca Plumlee (Robert Farace) of California, Mary Mitchell (Jonathan) of Missouri, Angela Donnelly (Brian) of Illinois, brothers Jerrold Taylor (Janet) of Illinois, Joseph Plumlee of Illinois, grandchildren Jody Phillips, Crystal Stephens, David Moulding, Abby Clark, Taylor Clark, nine great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 p.m. Thursday at Glenn's Chapel Church. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Glenn's Chapel Church with interment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park South. Memorial contributions may be made to Glenn's Chapel Church.
