Vanquita F. Norfleet, 69, passed peacefully away, November 28, 2012 at Methodist University Central Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Price, Sr. She is survived by her mother, Bertha P. Barry, and her brother Thomas (Abigail) Price, Jr.; her loving and devoted husband of 49 years, James E. Norfleet; her children: daughter, Desiree J. Norfleet Kitchen and son Eric (Stephanie) Norfleet, Sr.; sister-in-law, Lynne D. Norfleet; five grandchildren: Robert Jr.; Treshain, Eric, Jr.; Ruth and Erika. She leaves to mourn in her passing a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 7, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 8, at 12 p.m., with viewing beginning at 11 a.m., at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church in Westwood.
