Vera Ruth Richardson, 88, of Memphis, TN passed away on June 17, 2023 at Methodist Hospital Germantown.

Mrs. Richardson was retired from Steinmart Department Store. She was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church of Memphis, TN

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Terry and Lucy Stanford; her husband, Arlen; two sisters, Essie Dee and Wilma, also her brother, William.

She leaves one son, Terry Richardson (Kathy) of Drummonds, TN and one daughter, Susan Banning (Tom) of Eads, TN ; four grandchildren, Daniel Richardson (Morgan) and Wendy Richardson both of Drummonds, Steven Owens (Sarah) of Germantown and Tamrelyn (Chris) of Cordova; also four great-grandchildren, Lance Richardson, Landen Richardson, Olivia Owens and  Stella Owens, also a dear friend, Faye Beasley.
