Vera Agnes Spears, 90, of Southaven, MS, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 16, 2012. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 18 at Forest Hill South Cemetery with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Spears is a member of Elliston Baptist Church in Memphis. She is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle W. Spears, and daughter, Marie Stedman. She leaves two daughters: Faye Kelley and Carol Crane (Michael); one brother, Jerry Greer; 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Elliston Baptist Church or a charity of the donor''s choice.
