Verna Lee Brice, 88, peacefully passed away at home in Memphis, TN on June 12, 2013. She was a charter member of Covenant Baptist Church. Mrs. Brice was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Arvie Brice and her daughter, Phyllis Bowe. She is survived by her daughter, Charolette Roberson (Rob); four grandchildren, Connie Young (Adam), Cliff Eldred, Angela Bowe and Michael Bowe (Kim) and two great-grandchildren, Ashton and Clayton Young. Mrs. Brice is also survived by nieces and nephews and a special friend, Deborah Thomas. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday at Covenant Baptist Church in Collierville, TN.
