Vernon C. "Cat" Moss, 95, of Rossville, TN, formerly of Batesville, MS, died on November 14, 2016. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. He was a retired E&I Dept. Supervisor for W.R. Grace. He was an active member of Eads United Methodist Church, a Mason, and a WWII U.S.M.C. Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 76 years, Eleanor S. Moss; two children, Bill Moss (Janice) and Anne Carr (Brady); sister, Jean McCallen; three grandchildren, Deron Moss (Gayle), Tommy Johnston (Melissa), Kathy Dyson (Todd); four great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Aaron and Andrew Moss, Connor Johnston; three step-great-grandchildren, Chase, Tyler, Brennen Dyson; and a great-great grandson, Hayden Dyson. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Thursday, November 17 until service begins at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East with interment following. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Forever Young Senior Veterans or Eads United Methodist Church.
