Vernon "Gene" Hardin, 82, of Memphis, TN passed away on July 24, 2022 in Brentwood, TN. Mr. Hardin was owner and operator of Maintenance Supply & Fastener Co, Inc.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Pearl Hardin and sister, Louise Hinds.

Gene leaves his daughter, Marie Lee (Ted) of Brentwood, TN, his son, Wesley Hardin of Olive Branch, MS and step-daughter, Cindy Wilson (Gary) of Orange Beach, AL; his sister, Elizabeth Gwyn of Horn Lake, MS; Ashton Pearson (Chase) of Brentwood, TN, Peyton Young (Greg) of Franklin, TN , Jordan Hardin of Olive Branch, MS ,Tyler Wilson of Memphis, TN and Taylor Ann Tyler (Blake) also of Memphis; three great-grandchildren, Lynnly, Olivia, and Jane.

The family requests that memorials are sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
