Vicki Von Boeckman Spharler, age 59, died at Crossroad''s Hospice at St. Francis Hospital on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, following a courageous battle with multiple illnesses. As an RN, Vicki spent a life time caring for sick and needy children. She carried that same love and passion throughout her life with her family and friends. Vicki is survived by her husband David Spharler; three children, William Perrine III, C. Shawn Perrine and Brandon Perrine; a step daughter, Amanda Calhoun; five grandchildren, William Perrine IV, Dylan, Gavin and Lilia Perrine, and Devin Calhoun; her parents, Robert and Jean Marie Von Boeckman; one sister, Tina Blankenship; a nephew, Robert Blankenship; one niece, Ashley Blankenship; and a brother, preceded in death, Rusty Von Boeckman. Funeral services for Vicki will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 8 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home at 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN. Visitation will start at noon the same day followed by burial in Crittenden Memorial Cemetery in Marion, Arkansas. The Rev. Gary Hair will officiate.
