Victor Carl Oliver, 59, of Cordova, TN died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at his home. He was retired from the CSX Railroad and a member of Whitehaven Baptist Church. Mr. Oliver is survived by his daughter, Victoria D. Oliver of Oakland, TN and mother, Ruby Oliver of Memphis, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl H. Oliver. Mr. Oliver leaves behind his brother, Michael D. Oliver (Sally) of Collierville, TN; aunt, Helen Brown of Bristol, VA; uncles, Claude Blankenship (Judy), R.C. Blankenship and Gene Blankenship (Irene), all of Bristol, VA; nephews, Bradley Oliver (Aileen) of Arlington, TN, Daniel Johnson of Collierville, TN and a great-nephew, Liam Oliver. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, May 15 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home, with interment to follow.
