VIOLA PEARL HAYNES WILLIAMS was born in the rural town of Thomastown, Mississippi on December 21, 1926 and passed away on February 12, 2014 in Richardson, Texas. Viola, known as "Sis" was the daughter of Morgan E. Haynes and Blanche Blailock Haynes, loving sister to Ellis Haynes, Charles Haynes, Margorie Ellington and Patricia Bauermeister. Viola began working for Hickory Farms in 1971 until her retirement. Viola, a very devout Christian worked in the nursery at Graceland Baptist and Gracewood Baptist Church in Southaven, Mississippi. Viola never met a stranger and was always ready and willing to help someone in need. She was a great inspiration and will be missed by many. Preceded in death by her husband, John Clayton and son, Clayton Ellis "Sonny" Williams, Viola leaves behind two sons, Johnnie M. Williams (Cindy) of Clarkston, Michigan and Billy J. Williams (Jo) of Clarkston, Michigan, two daughters, Anita W. Williams (Robert) of Dallas, Texas and Reita C. Jerome (David) of Canton, Mississippi, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one sister, Pat Bauermeister of Sheperdsville, Kentucky and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday February 16 from 3 to 5 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior to services. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Gracewood Baptist Church of Southaven. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Gracewood Baptist Church''s Nursery Fund, Southaven, MS.
