Virginia Ruth Alexander Turner of Memphis, TN was born in Paris, TN to Marquis L. and Lillian Cumile Spaulding Alexander, who precede her in death, on July 7, 1921 and passed away on May 24, 2016 at the age of 94 years. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Charles H. Turner, and brother, Arthur Alexander. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Peck (Rick); sons, Steve Turner (Diana) and Dan Turner; grandchildren, Kelly (Rachel), Sam, Ryan, Melodie, Hope and Lauren; great grandchildren, Hayden, Riley and Ashtyn; sisters, Bette Brewer and Joyce Reedy; and by one brother, Marquis Alexander, Jr. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 12-2 PM with funeral services to immediately follow at 2:00 PM, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park East, 2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133
