Obituary

Virginia Magee Bogle was born on October 11, 1930, to Robert Dempsey Berry and Avalon Magee Berry. She spent the first 65 years of her life in Memphis, Tennessee and the last 31 years on her family land in Byhalia, Mississippi.

Virginia was a woman of unwavering faith, a loyal friend, devoted mother, and a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother.Her greatest joy was her daily walk with the Lord, and the special time she shared with her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren deeply, carrying each one in her heart and continually lifting them up in prayer. Her love, wisdom, and steadfast faith were a constant source of comfort and encouragement to those who knew and loved her.At 96 years old, she leaves behind a legacy far greater than the years she lived. Her life was marked by a quiet strength, a love for others and a life lived in service to the Lord which will continue to bless generations to come.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Bogle; her son, Richard Lee Bogle; and her parents, Robert and Avalon Berry.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Surratt Farley (John), Jill Brewer (Mark); her grandchildren, Lauren Surratt Galyon (Davis), Ryan Austin Surratt, Sr. (Brandyn), Matthew Wallace Brewer (Megan), Garrett Langston Brewer (Anna), Robert Landon Brewer (Kasey), and John North Farley, Jr. (Abi); and her great-grandchildren, Austin Surratt, Cam Surratt, Keaghan Surratt,Will Galyon, Gideon Brewer, Charlotte Brewer, Rhett Brewer, Virginia Brewer, Lee Brewer, Florence Brewer, Lacey Brewer, Caroline Brewer, Titus Brewer, John North Farley II, Mamie Kate Farley, and Carter Bess Farley.
