Virginia H. "Jenny" Brite, 94, of West Memphis, AR and formerly of Memphis, went to be with the lord  while surrounded by her family on July 7th, 2018.

Virginia was born in Turrell, AR the daughter of the late Hershel and Mattie Higginbotham and she is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Ernest E. Brite, daughter, Betty O'Rourke son, Jimmy Dean Fortune, sister, Laverne Gyunn and brothers, Hershel O. and Lawrence Higginbotham.  Virginia is survived by: her daughters; Virginia Burks, Pauletta Gordon, Rachel Brite and son, Steve Brite, 17 grand-children, 24 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.  She was a member of Frayser Assembly of God and a retired expeditor from International Harvester.  Later, she retired as a secretary at Frayser Assembly Christian School.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 10, 2018 from 9am to 10am with a funeral service to follow at 10 am at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park – East, 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN.  A committal service will be at 12pm, July 10, 2018 at Crittended Memorial Park, West Memphis, AR
