Virginia Pearl Everett Laughter, age 94, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on April 23, 2025. Born on December 4, 1930, in Chewalla, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Archie and Vinnie Everett. Virginia is survived by her two daughters, Brenda (Barry) Moore from Heber Springs, AR, and Angie Rasbach (Don) from Bartlett, TN, along with four grandchildren: Monica (Brad) Vance, Brad Moore, Hunter (Mallory) Rasbach, and Elise Rasbach, in addition to seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Leah Morphis of Olive Branch, MS, and brother, Travis Everett of Chewalla, TN.

Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Buddy" Wesley Laughter Sr., her son Charles Wesley Laughter Jr., her brother, Bud Everett, and sisters Shirley Hill, Dorothy Wilbanks, and Geraldine Brown.

Services will be on Tuesday, April 29th, at Forest Hill Memorial Cemetery, 2545 E. Holmes Road. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:00, and the funeral will follow under the mausoleum.

She loved her family fiercely and left a legacy of always helping others.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
